In 2-3 sessions you will learn the basic skills in order to make your very own wearabe art:
- how to thread a machine
- name & use the parts of a machine
- learn on a practice sheet first
- cut out your very own pattern to keep
- write the instructions on your pattern
- measure, pin and cut your fabric using your own pattern
- Sew up your finished apron using your supplies
- use an iron to finish off your new creation
Supplies you will need to purchase:
- One (1) metre of cotton/broadcloth with a design/pattern on it
- One (1) metre of cotton/broadcloth in a solid colour for the reverse side
- One (1) package of double-wide, double-folded bias tape to match your fabric
- One (1) spool of Black thread
- One (1) art paper/cardboard/bristol board measuring; 1 M long, by 18 in. wide
